ACROSS THE TABLE

08:04 Dec 30 2007
Times Read: 699

My eyes glazed in silver

Blended and unseen with the wire that consumed the form of my body

Time pasted and the normalcy of flesh was no longer

Only a reflection blurred by metal

I am what I see across the table

No longer the person struggling from the inside out

Settled and Concord

And in the wholes of myself lies nothing

I looked and I thought how transparent

But that was the mission hidden in one continuous line

Stuck motionless without a chair

Broken off with a dull blade

And my hair fell from the root

lost in the twisting complexities of the floor

My lips never created just forgotten

All my vanity lost in transaction

And I had nothing left

But the lingering idea that I will still always be here

Twisting and turning lost in your good bye

Forced to see what I have done

And with vanity lost I am still stuck in front of the mirror

Instilled with the fear that I will still always be here

A great poem!

Intense feeling and beautiful symbols.I love it!

You gave life to the void inside you.
