Branches tore at my skin, clothes, hair, and wings. Leaving bloody gashes as I raced through them, I stopped in a clearing my breath coming in short ragged gasps. My lungs felt like they were on fire as I looked around struggling for breath, behind me I heard the barely audible footsteps of the Demon-Werewolf Hybrids. Terror seized me as I took off running blindly through the forest, which is probably why I didn't see the sheer drop off. One moment my foot was on solid ground then the next I was free falling, that's when all of the sound came rushing back to me and the roar of the waterfall was deafening. Snapping out my jet black wings, and no I'm not half bird, I tried to catch some air but I was too wounded to keep myself myself up, and, screaming, I plummeted for the water.

I hit the water with a wet and painful smack, the water was freezing cold and icy as I swam towards the surface. My body was cold and numb every time I moved it felt like pins were being shoved into my body, when my head finally broke to the surface I tredded water coughing and sputtering trying to breathe without inhaling water. As fun as that may be, I don't particularly like it. Above me I heard the Hybrids howl in frustration as they lost their prey, apparently they can't swim which is a handy little piece of information for me, when they stopped howling I stayed where I was just to be safe. I may be crazy or whatever but I don't particularly have a death wish, thank you very much. Once I was sure they were gone I swam towards the shore and dragged myself out of the water, my shivering turned into shudders as I tried to keep myself warm. All I remember after that was curling up on the shore and distant shadowy outlines of some figures on the forest coming closer, then...nothing.

*******************************************

When I woke up I looked around groggily not sure of my surroundings then it all came back and I was wide awake and alert, although everything is too dark and blurry to really make out any of the vague shadowy outlines in the room.

"Oh, Warren she's awake!" A masculine voice yelled, I swung my head around trying to see him. There was the thud of footsteps, silence, a click of a switch, and the room was lit up. I shielded my eyes blinking a couple of times trying to clear the dots that danced in my vision, when my vision cleared I gazed around, the room was a dark oak and sparse. It mainly consisted of a bed, a dresser, and two doors one leading to the hallway and the other, presumably, to the bathroom.

"Uh..." Someone said and I turned to where the two boys stood. From what I could tell from their Power one is a Witch and the other a Warlock, I knew from my past dealings with Warlocks that they are a bit...oh how to put this nicely? A bit...stand off-ish I suppose would be a sufficient word to describe Warlocks, oh! Or even better territorial.

"I'm, uh, Warren and you, uh, are?" The Witch Warren stammered, a bit embarrassed then seeming to remember his friend he continued, "And this is Aubrey, your name is? Oh I'm a-" Warren started as I gazed at him coolly before feeling compelled to reply out of courtesy, cutting him off.

"-A Witch, and he's a Warlock." I finished for him, gazing down I saw that my almost translucent porcelain white skin was covered in bandages and red mottled angry welts and cuts, I could see a few bruises forming on my body that I knew were going to hurt like hell later I could also feel the same on my wings when I shifted them even though I couldn't see them currently.

"He asked you what your name is, answer him." Aubrey snapped, my eyes stopped examining my body and shot up to meet his gaze, my eyes blazing in irritation at trying to be ordered around by a Warlock.

"My name isn't important and it'd be wise to not challenge me Warlock." I snarled quietly glaring daggers at him.

"But it is important." Warren interrupted thoughtfully trying to ease some of the tension.

"Morgana, my name is Morgana." I said quietly after a moment of hesitation.

"That's nice and all but what exactly are you?" Aubrey asked moving away from the wall to stand next to his friend his arms crossed over his chest.
