Quick movement

In and out of trees

Feeling the wind over the body

Luna in the stars shining her light

Illuminating the ground beneath my paws

The clearing approaches like the light at the end of the tunnel

Out of the trees I come to the end

On a cliff I see the water below

The black waves crashing against the rocks

In this body I find freedom.

I look at luna and say hello

I am a moon howler

I am the wolf.

I am a soldier

I am a lover

I am a fighter

Inside my soul is the spirit of another

Inside this soul there is a conflict

I can see the battles that belong to centuries past

I can feel that thirst for war that drive to maintain honor

It conflicts with who I am today

Today I am honor bound but I love the normal life

I love the nature around me I love my lover

I entertain the idea of peace and hate the idea of war

But I thirst for it

Such a contradiction.
