Never has this been as true as it is in these forums. No sooner does someone open up a valid and meaningful discussion topic, than it is swamped with morons spouting out hackneyed cliches and pointless meanderings.



About 30% of the responses have nothing whatsoever to do with the question asked, leaving one to ask oneself whether or not the imbecile even read the first post.



50% of responses are apparently dictated by the illiterate. I say this, because if they could read they would realize that they are simply repeating what the last 20 people have already said, in the exact same words.



10% are really just kind of slow. They read the question, they just didn't understand it. They have no idea what's going on, but they want to participate anyway. They get an "E" for "Effort".



And of course, there is the 10% who actually try to engage in real, intellectual discussion. They read previous posts, and give intelligent responses both to the question asked, and the responses made by others. They answer as concisely as they can, rather than carrying on in pointless, self-glorifying rants.



To for those of you within this last 10%, I tip my hat. You stand before me as the only reason I can persevere, slogging my way through seemingly endless stupidity in order to have the chance to occasionally excavate your sparkling gems of wit and reason. You have risen above the teeming masses, and stand upon pedestals of wisdom and intellect, supported by thought and good judgment.



For that I salute you.















Incidentally, about 50% of those reading this will be offended. Good. The other 50% will think they are within that much sought after 10%. 95% of them will be wrong.













Another 8% will realize that 73% of statistics are made up on the spot. But not these ones. I swear.
