Just curious! Wondering if we put Tweety in with her daddy whether they will make babies. Tweety is about 3 years old. Wonder if she is beyond egg bearing years. Freaky either way since he is her daddy. Animals don't care. One good thing though is that he isn't grieving the lost of KG, his mate. I would have been more heartbroken if we lost him too.
I should be upset that Knyght has found a new girl and alittle freaked that it's his daughter but in the bird world I guess anything goes. I'm just glad that he didn't die of a broken heart after losing his mate, KG. That's what usually happens when they lose their mate since they are bonded for life. We didn't even know Tweety was a girl. She never laid any eggs. We have their cages near. If she doesn't try to bite off his face we might put them together. I've been afraid to do it since she is a evil little bitch.

I think if you set them up with a nest box they might try to breed, but let them spend some time together first...just enjoy each other's company. The nest box might trigger the instinct to breed.
