The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Cat and I went to a Doll House Museum Saturday and had a blast. Hours of talking, going “Ohh.. look at this.” “How in the world did they do that?” we left with our minds buzzing with ideals. So before I post the updates on the room box we are doing- let me show you a few of the photos. *unedited- and taken with the shine of Plexiglas* I love the dolls faces.























Birdy would of loved these- the Oz dolls.



























Parts of the displays dealt with the history of the world, like sweet shops, slavery.



































Even found an abandoned house…. LOL











Then we have the fairy house. LOVED it and plan to do one of the room boxes like this. Pictures are not the best but it house was about three feet above us. Loved the fireplace, the stairway, the windows. The jews above the bed.. loved.































They had a dragon lair- but those photos are just blurs. But did get a few of the trolls..witches.































Now to our little room. It is to be a cabin, set out in the woods. Think witch in the day of Colonia time. And we both are making what we can as we did not the use of mostly store bought items even in the museums doll houses. The fireplace stone is McD’s cupholders…. Yes we are talking making by hand as much as we can. We will not spend if we can make it. And neither of us has the money to sink into this.



So- fireplace before and after. And the start of our room, which is to be a winter setting. Christmas tree is still be thrown about on how to. Table, that is still to have a self built on the braces, the two benches.



Poor little crocked fireplace… LOL











Next to do is the logs for the walls. So yes- fun, keeps your brain thinking on what you can use, and love creation something I enjoy. Life is good. :)

Oh, THIS dollhouse!



By the way, I thought you would get a kick out of how long it took me to realize that "Jews above the bed" was a typo. I kept checking each picture thinking that there was a secret room hiding people like in "Diary of Anne Frank."



But on the other hand, how cool would that be in a dollhouse?!

:) Thanks Joli. I think the chimney is leaning to one side... lol.



Still working on it, will take a few months before we finish. Winter for the cabin, spring/summer is going to be a fairy one, Fall is another cabin, with Halloween getting its own magical cabin. ;)

I love the intricate details in each piece. I love to collect miniatures - mostly tea sets and stuff, but never thought of doing something like this with them.
