“Okay I’m going to leave; just tell me if you need anything later.” Serge said as he turned away from Edward and left the room. Edward then went over to Noah and told him to go into the bathroom and let him stop the blood. But Noah didn’t listen instead he moved away from Edward over to his bed and laid there.
“Why do you insist on bothering me with your act of being my brother, you and I know I’m not any relation to you and that all this is a ruse to stop anyone else from getting me?” Noah said in a pissed off tone then rolled on his side and covered his head with his pillow.
" Is that all you think you are to this family, my father promised to protect you and thats what will continue til there's nomore threats on your lfe....nomatter what you are your still apart of this family and always will be my brother, do you hear me Noah!" Edward said as he passed back and forth in the room...trying to calm down so that he doesnt do anything he'll regret later. He couldnt seem to understand why Noah was the way he was but knew that there was a deep sadness in Noah's heart that noone could get to.
"Would you still be saying that if you knew how your parents died....it was because of me....they died because i couldnt control my urges, a couple of months after i was brought here....they came into my cell to talk to me and laura, your mother had happen to be bleeding and i attacked....i didnt mean it but i couldnt resist the scent of her blood....even now i can smell that same blood coming from you...do you know how bad i want to attack you right now but wont." Noah said as he held the pillow on his face til eventually he removed it to see Edwards reaction to the nformation that he had just presented Edward. Edward looked noah straight in his tear drenched face as he processed everything and saw how hurtful it was for Noah to say. Noah tried so hard to forget them awful memories but couldnt, everytime he saw Edward they would rush back.
" I was told not to blame you for there death...they said that bringing you into the family was the best thing that could have ever happened to them, they new the risk and didnt care... they loved you Noah so you shouldnt blame yourself." Edward said as he went over to Noah and hugged him tightly. Noah tried to break the embrace but Edward refuesed to let him go and Noah didnt want to fall apart anymore then he was cause he knew that he wouldnt beable to control hinself. He couldnt bare to loose control on the last person that allowed him to live.
" Please release me...Edward your scent its too strong, I cant control myself completely around you...now please you must let go." Noah said as he pushed Edward away. When he looked up Edward saw that Noah's eye's had change to a golden yellow and that he had fangs inches from his gums. Noah saw the shock and fear that came over Edward when he saw what he looked like and just turned away.
" So thats it, thats the big secret....your a wolf, thats what you are...answer me Noah, is it." Edward demanded as he pulled on Noah's arm and forced him to look at him. All Noah could do was nod, he didnt want to admitt to what he was nor did he deny it. But then Edward smiled and released Noah and walked over to the door and locked it then walked back over to Noah.
" What are you doing Edward, you have to leave, please, im begging you, i dont want to hurt you!" Noah said as he backed away from Ed and into a conner by accident. But then edward pulled a pocket knife out of his jacket and sliced his palm deep and let the blood drip on the floor. He watched as noah's eye's went from a terrified look to an hungery look and also watched as noah forced himself to look away and resist the smell.
" I wanna see how much restraint you got to keep yourself distants from me." Edward said as he saw tears start staining Noah's face. He could see that Noah was struggling to stay where he was but knew it wouldnt last.
" I can't, please chain me up, do something, i dont wanna end up killing you too." the scared look in Noah's face caught Edward and he then wrapped his hand up and hide his wound from the sight of Noah.
" Are you really that scared of yourself Noah, im sorry, i didnt know." edward said. he couldnt imagine the restraint it took for Noah to stay away from him. He then walked over to Noah and grabbed the chains from the wall and hooked them to noah's cuffs on his hands and legs.
" Don't be mad, please, i tried to tell you once before but i couldnt bare to see the look of fear in your eyes...and tonight i saw it." Noah said as he looked up at Edward with his gold eyes and fangs lowered 3 inches from his mouth. He knew Edward was scared of him and hated it.
" Im not mad at you, i understand why you did it....just please stay in this room." Edward said. he knew noah wasnt going to listen and knew that noah was afriad of wat he was more then anyone.
" Just leave please, i want to be alone." noah said as he pulled his body away from Edward and just hugged his legs together.
" Are you hungrey still or do you just want me to leave.' Edward sid as he attempted to touch Noah but noah shook him off and laid his head on his legs. Noah looked at Edwad and told him to leave so thats exactly wat edward did. While Edward was walking down the long narrow hall he couldnt seem to shake the feeling that there was more to the story of protecting Noah and was determind to find out wat it was. As he was walking he ran into his friend Casey, who asked him wat was going on, cause he heard the alarm go off. Casey for 6 years was the only one who knew about Noah and wat he was here for. Casey always wanted to go to visit Noah in his room but this time Edward wouldnt let him. He didnt want to risk Noah attacking Casey for no reason other then pure hunger.
" Whats going on, is Noah okay?" Casey said as he walked over to Edward and just stood there looking towards Noah's room.
" Hes fine, he got out again and the alarm on his room went off." Edward said in a shakey tone as wat he saw happen to Noah ran threw his head. He couldnt get how scared Noah looked out and it was bugging him.
" Oh, so wats on the agenda today, are we going to a movie or are we staying here and babysitting." Casey said as he walked past Edward over to the room. But when he went to open it, Edward grabbed his hand and told him that Noah was asleep.
" How can he be asleep, the alarm just went off." Casey said as he pulled away and pushed open the door to see Noah chained up in a corner. So without thinking he runs over to Noah and touches his arm and when he did an agitated grawl came from Noah and Casey just backed away.
" Stay away from him...he's not himself right now." Edward said as he walked into the room and grabbed ahold of Casey's arm. But then Noah smelt Edwards blood coming from the covered up wound and launched at them with fangs now 5 inches from his mouth and his claws longer then before. When Casey saw wat Noah looked like he froze and just stood there inches from Noah's reach.
" What the hell is wrong with his face and hands." Casey yelled. Then he slowly moved further away from Noah. When Noah realized wat he did he started crying again and just looked into the mirror on his wall.
" Get out, now!" Noah screamed as he went over to the mirror and smashed his fist threw it. Blood dripped from his hand and he just stood there in front of the busted mirror.
" Come on Casey, its time to go, I told you Noah wasnt himself." Edward said as he pointed towards the door for Casey to leave.
" Ed, hurry, these chains arent going to hold me and i can smell your blood." Noah said as he looked back at Edward and smiled. He was turning and noone could stop it.
" Get out now, Casey, I'll be there in a minute, just go." Edward said as he pushed Casey away. So Casey leaves and Edward shuts the door and walks towards Noah to check his wound.
" Get out, I told you." Noah said as he leaned on the wall and tried to keep himself controled. His brother didn't understand his condition and how hard it is to resist his hunger.
" Just stay still, im going to wrap ur hand up." Edward said while moving closer to him. As Edward reached his hand towards Noah, Noah grabbed him and pulled him into a strong hold as his fangs lunged into edwards arm and a faint scream escaped edwards mouth. Noah couldnt stop himself until he finally tasted the blood slide down his throut and he dropped to the floor and Edward just moved away and looked at noah.
" I told u to get the hell out of here....why wont u listen....dont u understand i can kill u and wont mean it." Noah exclaimed as he started punching the wall. He wanted Edward to leave him alone but he wouldnt.
