I see darkness and blood. The walls around me are covered in blood stains, and there are fanged creatures all around me. I feel like screaming, but suddenly I hear a loud ringing noise, and wake up. The ringing is from my alarm clock. I look in the mirror hanging on my wall. My face is red, and covered in sweat. Another nightmare to start off my school day. I go downstairs. My parents are awake and ready for work. "Hi guys" I mumbled. "Good morning honey" They both said at the same time. As usual there in a good mood with big smiles on their faces. I eat breakfast, and head back upstairs to get ready for school. I put on a pair of jeans, and a black T-Shirt. Now that I'm ready for school, I walk to the bus stop. It is about ten minutes before the bus gets here. Finally the bus pulls up to the curve, and it fills with students. The bus finally makes it to school. I head over to my locker to meet up with Ino. "Hi Ino" I said smiling."Hi, did you hear about the women found dead?", she asked curious. "No, I haven't" I said wondering what she was talking about. "Really?" she said shocked. "It was on the news" she explained. "The cops found her dead, and the weird thing is there were two marks on her neck", she said. "Its probably some cult or something", I answered. "Of course, but the newscaster said the women was drained of all her blood", she said with a worried expression. "Yeah whatever", I mumbled. Then we head to our classes. The day goes by fast. I decide to walk home. I stop by Rachel's family shop. Rachel is a girl in my class, who family owns a shop that sells incense, scented soap, candles, and other various items. I love the smell of the shop. When I go inside the store is empty except for Rachel's mom working at the counter, and a handsome young man smelling incenses. I can't help but stare at the young man. He has black hair, and pale skin. His features are perfect. The young man turns to look at me, and I blush. "Hello Mist", he said. How does he know my name I wonder. "How do you know my name?" I asked shocked. "I know more than just your name, I've known you your whole life, he said with a smile. I am to stunned to ask him what he means. He leaves the store, and I run after him. By the time I reach him my legs hurt. "Tell me what you mean", I asked. "My name is Aaron, I am a vampire, and a vampire hunter" he said with a blank expression. "Vampire?", I repeated. I wonder how you can be a vampire, and a vampire hunter. It's dark out now. I look at the moon. It's beauty burns into my mind like a flame on paper. Suddenly I see a shadow run past us. Its hard to see in the dark, but I make out the form of a man. I look closer, and see he has two fangs. He hisses at me, and starts to come forward in my direction. I try to run, but I can't feel my legs. Aaron jumps in front of me, and pulls out what looks like a sword from under his jacket. He cuts the guys head off. Then the head comes tumbling to the ground, followed by the body. I stare in horror at the dead guy. "Mist you have opened the door to your destiny", said Aaron. "Take my hand and you shall explore the world of night", he said holding out his hand.
