Alone

I feel like my whole world is crumbling down. Like everything around me is falling apart. I feel like I’m all alone with no one that neither loves me nor wants me. I feel hollow to the point that I am broken and torn inside. I feel like there’s nothing but an empty space deep within that’s lost its meaning and depth. It’s like my heart’s been ripped out of my chest and I’ve been left here to die. My body is limp and life less; it’s as if there’s no soul left inside this hollowed out body. All of the inner pieces have been removed and thrown away or taken for whatever reasons. The blood that once flowed through this body no longer exists, it dried up and drained. The heart that once pumped within has stopped pumping and no longer produces life to this body. Everything is gone, nothing is seen, neither heard, smelt, nor tasted. It’s gone. Everything that ever existed has left and may never return.

Will I ever be put back together, or shall I remain broken and lost forever? Can anyone ever fix what’s been done to me? I’m sure in some ways it can be fixed, yet in others it can’t. I’m sure that if someone wanted to, they could love me and care for me and bring me to life, but at the same time it’s something that someone would want to do, not feel obligated to do. They could never bring back my best friend, nor could they do anything to make up for that loss, but it doesn’t mean that they couldn’t mend me and make me feel whole again. It’s all based on the person and what they are capable of. Are they capable of love, trust, honesty, loyalty, being true friends, and so much more? If so, then I’m sure that if they can find a way to win me over, then they’d be able to fix and mend this broken soul.

Can a broken soul be mended? Of course it can be. Anything can be fixed if you try. Not everything can be fixed the same way, but it can all be fixed. A broken soul is just someone who’s lost or feels dead. Someone who’s lost a lot throughout their life or even recently, and is in search of ways to fill in the voids. A broken soul just needs the right amount of love and comfort as well as affection. There are many ways to fix a broken soul if you’re willing to give it a shot and try to find out what really needs to be mended and what doesn’t. After all, if you mend the wrong thing then it does no good in making a broken soul whole again.

Can we really hit rock bottom? Of course we can. You don’t have to be physically dead, as in being a ghost or corpse. You can be dead just by feeling empty within or feeling a sense of loss. There are many ways to come off as being dead without being dead. I know, it doesn’t really make sense to many, but for those of us who have been there and done it, it is possible. There will never be a way to truly make others realize this nor to explain to them how to help someone who’s dead, but it happens. Basically, when a person hits rock bottom, they are technically dead within.

So, as you see…a broken soul is a dead one in many ways. A limp and lifeless body is one that has nothing left to it and can’t produce itself to be used. All in all, there is no mending us if you let us fall too deep or if you have no idea what you are doing to begin with. It’s all about knowing what’s missing and what’s hurting us rather than what you think is right for us even when it’s not. So, the next time you see a broken soul or a dead person, just be sure not to cross it the wrong way for it could be a bad thing, but try to approach with caution and know that if you give it the time, then maybe you can help mend it somehow.

Hello all...

Here is a little about myself. I am a single mother of 2, a full time college student working my way towards my BA in Psychology, and an artistic person. I have about a year of school left til I receive my degree, then it's onto my Master's or Doctorate. I have also made President's List and joined the National Society for Collegiate Scholars. It's definitely an honor with how far I've come thus far.

I enjoy drawing, painting, writing, coloring, cooking/baking, fishing, hunting, camping, working out, playing board games, watching sports and playing sports, watching movies, photography, and much more.
