A man slowly walking
down a hall
suddenly hears a call
and as a shadow moves
across the wall
his pace slows to a crawl
Having thoughts like:
What should I do?
not knowing what to do
he looks around hoping
to at least find a single clue
The sound he heard before
now escalates behind every door
not wanting to hear any more
he slowly kneels closer to the floor
As he starts to pray
for an end to this day
a voice says "Won't you stay?"
not knowing what to say
he turns to see in his dismay
without any time to react
a figure dressed in black
He knows he's seen this person before
at least 3 to 4 times or even more
with nothing left to say or do
he looks up & says: "Oh, hey Mom, it's you
failing to remember that even he said
that she was already dead

I've had quite a few

But to fall in love with a beautiful angel

Two blind mice awoke
in the middle of the night
giving each other a
quick and sudden fright.
Not knowing what to do
they stared at each other,
rolled up their sleeves
and munched on a
single slice of cheese.
They munched for what
seemed like days
until the cheese was
all but moldy and gray
and in one single sneeze
they realized they had fleas.
So from the cheese they went
thinking these fleas were
truly heaven sent,
they munched on their fleas
and probably excepted
their very own disease.
they washed their meal down
with some bleach and wine
as they set up the poison sign.
as they looked up through the
hole in their ceiling to see the sky,
the two of them sat and cringed
due to light sensitive eyes..
