Inspired by the "Bhagavad Gita".
"I live life,
day to day,
I am told daily
that I must pray,
that the price I pay
is worth a bushel of hay,
is worth every word I say,
So now I am become life,
the Messenger of peace,
a world with no strife."
"I have died,
I cannot have lied,
for my soul has away shied,
that my body out cried
in desperation and empty sighs,
and so would my anger rise,
rage against this world of mine,
So now I am become Death,
the Destroyer of worlds,
my anger has unfurled."
"I have been,
have yet to see,
I have been born,
my soul from body torn,
I have seen the best of this,
I have seen the worst gone amiss,
I have achieved balance,
So I am become Man,
The balance between life and death."
This life unbridled
has been long untitled,
not a name has been given'.
This time it's gone,
the souls have moved on,
they have left behind the livin'.
So I offered a toast
to my all but humble host,
that he be given a hand.
As death drew ever near,
i withdrew from my fear,
I cast my self unto this land.
Let my sacrifice be known,
in a place far from home,
amongst the swirling sands.
