hmmm...where to begin. I was finally able to visit my grandmother this past weekend. We traveled to a native american reservation to participate in the rituals. Mostly, finding ourselves and being "one" with our surroundings. I will charish the experience. I never realized my physical characteristics actually resembled the "black-foot" tribe. My mothers family is cherokee and my fathers side of the family is black-foot. If I can remember correctly, there has only been one individual who has been able to nail my ethnicity. The interesting thing about that situation is that I was actually in a 7-Eleven. The guy randoming approached me and said "are you native american?"



Anywho...I was able to bring some wonderful items home for my family and since I do not see my grandmother often, we were able to have our "bonding" time.
