Oh yes I ment to say as well, notice that she didn't say Aunt! She said, daughter of her grandparents...in her responce.



So does that mean that they were not a close family, or that she was adopted?...



I don't understand this answer....I feel that I am either being conned or that they really wern't close.



I haven't raised this yet but I will!

My first attempt at becoming a medium and my response to a photo sent to me by my teacher.

I'm a fully qualified hypnotherapist and find everything about language and people fascinating. I feel that by taking part in this course will enable me to help my clients and will help me with my work. Perhaps also help me to understand me a little better as well.



For me it's like a search....I feel that I'm on the road to a better understanding. So many twists and turns..



I have paid for this course now and await the next step. In two weeks time I will be in the audience sat on another meeting, and I want to understand this process more. The one thing that seems to stick out in my mind is that it is about belief, if you don't believe then it's not for you.



The meditation process I sometimes do is with a mirror by looking at it and by relaxing and unfocussing my eyes. Then you just wait for the blackness and images in this blackness. Rather like a form of daydreaming or hypnotic trance.



The candle form of relaxation/meditation is rather different and difficult as I'm drawn to the flame like the moth to a light. I find it difficult to maintain a constant image of the whole image. As I found that I was already looking into the blackness of the flame from the start. The recalling of the flame was easy to visualise but the movement of this image I found difficult to achieve. The image of an object to recall like a apple or banana was again easy to do but again I found moving this image difficult. As with all images it just seemed to be central.



The Picture



My first thoughts of when I saw the picture was that it was an old photo dated I would suspect in the fifties or sixties of someones grandparents.( It did make me think of my own grandparents) Body language suggests that there is feelings of affection in their relationship. I felt that they are a couple). They both appear proud people, in appearance. I had the feeling that this was a strong willed gentleman.



The woman looks...or I feel that the woman looks uncomfortable. The man is able to hold himself and is unconsciously supporting the woman.



Then I felt loss, I felt that there should be someone sat in the middle for some reason! The space is not big enough for a adult so it would be one of a child. A sadness was felt as well.



Then I looked at the location and felt that they were at some occasion, perhaps at the seaside....I feel that I want to say Wales, with family. Maybe even the person who took the photo. But I don't think that it is the seaside, but I can't think of another location best suited for my thoughts, so it has to be by the seaside.



I have not come across this word 'MIZPAH' before so I looked it up and concluded that it was maybe a son or daughter who had the picture in their possession. But I feel that it was a daughter who took the picture.



But still......Perception must play a big role.



The photo was interesting but I thought straight away that old people like the seaside but I can't explain why I think it is Wales. I also thought that it is obvious that it is a family member taking the photo. Also, most Son's don't take the pictures of their parents...so it felt like it was a daughter....I can't explain the child, only by the fact that they had left that space between them.



I would presume that they both have now past away? I will keep up the meditation and keep looking at this picture to see if I feel any difference with it. Very Interesting and thank you very much.

Hi - I am so pleased that you have enjoyed what you have tried so far, you have done extremely well with the psychometry picture, this was in the 50`s taken in Rhyl (Wales) by the seaside, they are married and did loose a little girl who I feel would have sat between them, she was two years old when she passed.

Both very proud people and yes this is my grandparents and I have the photo and the mizpah brooch, which was given to me by their daughter, so spot on.

I am really pleased and impressed what you have picked up from the psychometry and to be honest probably the best so far, well done.



With the pictures of the flame, apple, bannana etc, keep trying and eventually you will be able to be in control of your image.

There is nothing really you need to purchase except some ribbon for later on in the course.

Right, So I got most of it right!.....umm...I can't think of names for the couple but I will try. What I want to know is folks , Does this mean that I have this ability as well. Or is it just a trick of the mind.
