I have a question for anyone who has dealt with animal parts. Does anyone know how I could preserve a chicken bone for a jewelry idea I have? The bone would be cut in half and attached to surgical steel.

Chicken bones don't rot, just make sure you clean them of all meat, sinew, cartilage and musle.
To clean them just boil for a few hours then drain and let them cool. then on a low heat put them in the oven to dry.
Once cold again apply a clear vanish which will help strengthen them.
that work but to get the Marrow out You may want to drill lengthwise into the bone and blow the marrow out the other end.
This sounds interesting... What are you going to be making??
