Times Read: 671

It was a very rainy day and a scorpion was trapped on a rock and the water level was rising rapidly. Right then a frog was swimming by and the scorpion said 'excuse me but could you give me a ride to saftey?'. The frog replied 'No your a scorpion and youll sting me'. The scorpion said 'No i wont please save me!'. The frog agreed and as he was swimming with the scorpion on his back The scorpion struck his tale into the back of the frog. As the frogs body was sinking from the venom of the scorpion he asked the scorpion one last question.. 'Why did you sting me? now we will both die' and the scorpion replied 'Its in my nature'

I like that one. When you were a baby we went to a Hindu service with a friend and the guest speaker told this story and then we all meditated upon it. Even though you were little and crawling around all over everyone I wonder if it's in your subconcious. You always like this.

Its is a true thing. But to kill yourself because of your own nature is a little stupid.

I like scorpions...so this tale is a little sad.

Ha.

I digress.

I like rainy days since we have so few here in SUNNY California.

Frogs are gullible.

People are gullible.

Frogs and people are flawed.

We all want to believe in the greater good, but there is no such thing.

Life is full of choices. Some wise. Some not so wise.

The frog was a fool; but a fool with morals. The frog did the right thing...

The scorpion? Is an excellent actress.

It's not in the nature of the scorpion to kill itself. It's in his nature to sting.

At what price?

Sometimes there is nothing one can do but sit and prepare to drown.

hey dont insult the frog...he was trying to be nice even though he wasnt too certain about the scorpion. The scorpion was the one who lied and stabbed the frog in the back.

but overall fairly good of a short story, needs alittle work though
