While looking at my journal earlier, I realized it had been nearly four months since my last entry. Seeing as it has been somewhat of an eventful few months, I thought I’d write down my thoughts.



After about a month of being unemployed since my last time writing here, I was hired by another hotel here in the city. So … I’m back in the hotel industry, which in all honesty I’m not too ecstatic over, but the pay and hours are pretty good (although I have heard there may be a bit of a layoff during the winter, which I was told would not be happening. So, I guess we’ll see …), there are medical benefits and things appear to be going well enough, so I suppose it could have turned out worse. I received a ton of calls in regard to employment and actually turned down two other jobs before settling on the place I’m at now. The General Manager of one of the hotels I interviewed for said they may be converting to a retirement home in the fall, so I’m going to keep my eye on that and see what happens - I STILL want to get out of the hotel business eventually!



I’ve begun writing again over the past month or so for the writing and podcasting network I mentioned in a previous entry. I have also been throwing out feelers in regard to interview requests for a website idea I have been considering for a while now, but haven’t received much feedback in return. So, I don’t know if that is going to come to fruition. *Shrugs* We’ll see.



I suppose that’s really it. Things appear to be on track for the most part, but I feel something is … I don’t know … missing, perhaps. Hmm …
