From what I have determined this is a nectarine tree. Unfortunately it was taken over by a huge cedar, so it grows sideways. This seems to make the plant weak, the limbs unable to hold the fruit to it's full life. So I have never been able to determine for positive. I have just asked alot of the older generation, people that used to plant & sow there own land, some that still do. I would love to have a nectarine tree. They happen to be one of my favorite fruits. I hope to one day transplant it to a better home, unfortunately my fear of losing it completely compells me to leave it be.
Hmm The nectarine trees I have grown dont have serrated edges on their leaves..Also,the leaves are normally shiny. But fosho, they are one of m,y favorite fruits too! YUM
Thanks Oceanne. I haven't come across anyone that has actually had them before. They say the lady that lived here before had a green thumb & she would plant almost anything. So now, I wonder what this could be then..lol

I decided not to create a portfolio. Mostly for personal reasons. With that, I will be posting pictures to this section as I get them. This section will also still contain humor, although I will use it much less for that.
These guys were really lucky. Please think before you drink & drive. I deal with these situations all the time. Trust me, when it comes to a wreck like this, the odds are not in your favor.
