I see you standing over there

strangely though beautifully alone

theres a new change in the atmosphere

I slight frown on my face was quickly being sewn

But If i cry your name you will not hear



You will not hear, for you choose not to hear

along with seeing me with saddness on my face

you dare not come anywhere near

So to leave you make the quickest haste

but as you do shed but one single tear



so "who are you " one might ask

"whats your name" says another

but I know who you are hiding behind the mask

you are the one who knows no more of a mother

you are the one who performs no simple task



yes you are the one I know very well

you are the one whos tough is as cold as ice

you make every girls heart swoon and swell

you are the one who rolls all the lucky dice

you no longer find comfort in others so you hide in a shell



you need to feast on what you dont have

you need of what only mortals pocess

you feel uncapable of bearing to laugh

you only ponder when you walk of night, none ever less

if you stay longer, youll be dust and caught by the draft



that is the reason you cant come near

it isnt of pride, vain, or ignorence

it is merely of his very own fear

he says he cant be with me now and it doesnt make sense

so as he struggles to simply walk away, he sheds only but one tear
