I'm so tired of people and their stupidity. Their shortsightedness. Their overall lack of self-awareness. Sometimes I hear some of the things people say, and see the things they do, and wonder "do they even hear/see themselves?"
You swear up and down you'll never get a cellular device. You'll post things about all the "potential dangers" of cellular ownership. Most of all, you'll never get a cellular device because you don't want to be like the other "sheeple". Give it some time, and what do I see? You have a cellular, you use it quite often, and you're still talking about "sheeple" in that condescending way you do oh so well.
You're very much over weight, and friends are hard to come by. Through a painful trial and error you wrangle together a group of decent people you decide to call your friends. You start losing weight, and make new friends. You spend less time with the "old" friends, and more with the "new" ones. Then, when the "new" ones hurt you somehow, you say things about not having any real friends?
You say you were bullied relentlessly in school because of your weight. You start losing weight and start getting more compliments. Your comments start out small, coming out as kind of a joke. Then, one day, you "snap" and start preaching about how over-weight people are "nasty" and such.
I have many more examples like those above, and all I really want to know is...
"Do you fucking hear/see yourself? Are the lights on at all?"
Maybe I'm the retarded one for being bothered by this. Maybe this is just normal, everyday behavior; prior evidence may suggest so. Maybe I'm just tired of the hypocrisy. Something about people that say one thing and do another just bothers me.
I can't stand people that do "social leveling". Let me explain. You talk to me and we're cool, but when somebody "above" me in your "social network" is around I don't exist? Fuck your "social levels". I try to treat everyone as an equal, and if that's a hard concept for you to grasp you can save me the time and be on your way before I have to ask you.
