At the end of a very difficult two week period at work, the blue-bird of happiness should be perched on my shoulder, singing it's little heart out.



Instead I feel like it's just shit on my head.



I think this is because today the huge amount of in-fighting and all round negative crap finally got to me.



Why can't people understand it's difficult for all parties ? Why can't people see that ? It's a case of making the best of a bad job, end off.



Mind you Mad-dog made me laugh out loud this afternoon. She was passing my oven ( office ) and ever so casually asked "What's on the other side of your wall ? "



I could just picture her with a lump hammer going to sort the heat problem out once and for all and the expression on Pats face when she comes back on Tuesday.



I've also injured my "good" foot, nothing serious but enough to put an end to walkies for a week or two. Does'nt sound like it should be enough to make me so damn grumpy, but it has.



The hoo-ha over this damned facist demo is the main topic of every conversation here just now.



Shops, fountain and statue are now boarded up. Just heard that as well as buses not running, roads will be closed.



Our hospital is on serious incident standbye and get this, admin, yes me, are part of the call out procedure.



Doctors and nurses I can understand, but admin ? lmao, it will be a cold day in hell when I hobble into work on a Saturday for a bunch of tossers intent of causing all concerned such irritation.



Looking on the bright side, the weather for tomorrows little escapade is heavy rain, I hope they all get a good soaking...at the very least.



Well, I think that about covers it.

I've often said we pay a high price for living in a democracy.



£300,000 is the sum being quoted to police a demonstration by a facist group this coming Saturday.



This particular group is demonstrating against Muslim Extremists. Quite frankly I can't imagine the Taliban taking a fat lot of notice, bit like name calling on the net really.



Shops in the square are being boarded up, and alot of people are going to be inconvenienced.



Just heard today that a young lass who worked as a HCA with us on the ward for a few years and then went in for her nurse training has been sacked.



Such a shame, she would have made a wonderful nurse. She kept quite about a drug caution from the police a few months ago, the management found out and that's all she wrote.



Yes, I understand the viewpoint of the Hospital Trust, and guess who was the hatchet man ? It was my old friend Slick.



I really want to call her, but I'm not meant to know about it, it's all hush hush, I only found out by accident.



On the good news front, only two more days to go before I'm back sitting at my own little desk.
