Good Morning :)

I apologize for my short absence here of late. However, I have not left the shadows, I am still here just lurking about. I wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Holidays and Happy New Year. Imbolc is creeping up fast and I'm looking forward to spending it with friends in Dallas this year. :)

I know this post always seemed as a greetings from me to the House, but I also wanted it to be a space where everyone can catch up with one another. We all have lives and things going on each day and it can and does pull us away from the Rave and our lovely chats here. So if you've been away and just want to check in and say hey to everyone, this is where to do it.

As for my personal challenges of late, as many may already know from my profile, I have a seizure disorder called Epilepsy. I was assigned a new epitologist last month at the medical hospital clinic I go to. My regular doctor, whom I've known for over a decade has unexpectedly "left the country" to return home. Soooo....having to start over with a new doctor is kinda hard when you have neurological or immunological issues because each of them has a different philosophy of how to treat you. o_o My new doctor added a couple of new meds, increased dosage on one and decreased dosage on another that has been my main medication since 2009. I've had several break through seizures this past month, some real humdingers. As usual, countless messages left at the neurology desk does not always equal a nurse returning your call. So I've put myself back on the full dosage of my main medication just this past weekend and so far, so good. Life on the floor or in the bed spazzing out is just not a life.

Anywho, that's been my challenge of late to keep me away from my keyboard, among many others, all cumulative. I hope everyone is doing well with their own day to day and that your coming year is better than the last. :)
