I just did the second rune reading in 72 hours on a particular situation that's been reaching and passing a critical point: those involved know what I'm speaking of. Those who aren't don't need to know, but I wish to keep the records of major readings here.

PAST:

Othila (rev): property, land, inheritance, home, the family name, legacy, synthesis, sense of belonging

Reversed indicates or radical departure from the old ways.

I drew an additional rune to further expound on that. It was

Berkana: healing, fertility, new beginnings, growth, conception, plenty and clearance



PRESENT:

Perthro: change, rebirth, mystery, magic, divination, fertility, sexuality, new beginnings and prophecy

Nauthiz: discontentment, obstacles, poverty, hardship, responsibility, impasse and frustration

and

Wunjo (rev): recognition, success, reward, joy, bliss, contentment, achievement of goals

Reversed meaning suggests delays in completing a task or achieving those goals



FUTURE:

Laguz: emotions, deep fears, the unconscious mind, things hidden, revelations, intuition and counselling

Fehu: concern with physical and financial needs, prosperity and money, promotion, self-esteem; rewards for past efforts

Reversed suggests letting what you have achieved slip through your fingers.



Overall, it wasn't a really pretty picture, but it was accurate to the situation as things stood at that point.

PRESENT:

Sowilo indicates success, positive energy, increase, power, activity, fertility and health

I drew an additional rune for clarification here: it was Dagaz, which indicates happiness, brightness, success, activity, a fulfilling lifestyle and satisfaction. It can also indicate a timeframe of one day. So I drew another one and got Mannaz (man) inverted: Mannaz represents the human race, and can also be an individual or talk about the self, relationships, and social concerns--inverted tells you to look internally to see the reasons for one's feelings of isolation.



FUTURE:

Eihwaz, the yew tree, means change, initiation, confrontation of one's fears, turning point, death, transformation. I wanted a little clarification on this, too, just to be sure I was reading it correctly. It's rare that you get such a resounding positive runespread--I've seen it maybe a dozen times in about 10 years. The clarification was still uber-positive: Inguz--work, productivity, bounty, community, balance, connection with the land.



Four out of those 6 have no reversed meaning. There's no way to misinterpret them. The other two are pretty hard to misinterpret.
