A busy couple of weeks here, from the snow and travel chaos, to working on my exams and a couple of little projects...
It was nice to spend some time working out how to transfer files directly on IRC. Makes a lot of difference, because Yahoo sucks balls at file transfers. They lie too. 1GB files? Yeah, my arse. And when the file crashes, it doesn't resume. Thanks to the awe inspiring Joli, we worked out the best solution yet.
Everything else in life is pretty peachy. Everton beat Liverpool in the FA Cup, work have finally given me my pay rise and backdated it, my bills are all being paid, debts are being reduced, plans are all in place and I sleep well at night. I've also started sharing Babylon 5 with my most treasured friend, which is good for me, since it's the best Sci-Fi series ever made, imo.
I'm down to 186lbs, which is good since I've built at least a pound of muscle. Another six pounds of fat and the abs will start showing again, then I reckon it'll be time for the rowing machine. At 14% body fat, which when the other six drops off, will take me below 10% for the first time since school.
I've cut down the alcohol, chocolate and snack intake significantly, pushed the larger meals to earlier times in the day, and eaten small amounts often later in the day.
Feeling good, looking pretty good and having many good thoughts. The transformation of my life over this past year has amazed even myself. Good eating, proper exercise and hard work, with support from people who have proven that they really care, has brought me to the best place I've been in my life, mentally, spiritually and physically.
