Dangit I hate Sunday.
Truly.
My son - who just turned three...is in rare form today. I feel like I've got no energy because I've been chasing him. He's a tornado. One minute he's in the sink "WASHING" his hands...which somehow involves using ALL of the liquid soap and then getting water on the floor, the walls, the mirror, the cabinet....and using ALL of the towels in that bathroom.
Then he dumps out all of the legos that he got for his birthday - gets annoyed that they don't put themselves together and when I ask him to pick them up...he tells me that his elbows are too weak to pick up blocks. I almost fell over.
His elbows are too weak.
Sheesh
Thank goodness the storms have passed us...sheesh I hate this time of the year. It makes me nervous watching all of those stupid storms building up in the Atlantic and then they come skidding across Cuba and head right for us! Ack...
Ok so I've got nothing interesting to say - it's been insanely Usual here...usual is good though - I mean, I like the stability of NORMAL.
Jess had his third birthday and we went to Disney. We actually went to Orlando and took him to Arabian Nights - which I love because of the horses (of course) and he really liked the chariot races, so that worked out good. We spent the night at the Spongebob Nickelodeon hotel and layed around by the pool and then in the morning went to Magic Kingdom. Weirdly enough - my husband forgot his sneakers for walking around and so on the way we went to a shoe store...which is like Disney for me..hehe
So I found this really cool pair of like retro-Nikes - they're black with a white swoosh and white laces...I love them truly madly deeply...ROFL...and we got the husband some sneaks too...and off we went to Disney. We rode the freakin train most of the day because Jess is a Thomas fan and he can't get enough of the puff -puff and ding-ding sounds that the trains make. I love "tomorrowland" because it reminds me of being like 9 and going to Disney with my parents...
Actually 'Tomorrowland" is starting to look like "yesterdayLand" so Disney might wanna get on that....
