Good luck I hope surgery goes well. Do keep posting and keep us updated please. My 8 year old nephew has been having similar troubles. Poor thing he gets sick almost everytime he eats. His situation is rather rare, only like 7 people have ever had it, so doctors are a bit unsure what to do. However it also is involving the pyloric valve. I will be praying for you.
