I have been looking into various articles about gravestone rubbings. Believe it or not, I actually became interested in this art form from watching the movie "Sleepwalkers", and have been wanting to try it for some time-



Several articles had different recommendations for materials, media, and optional equipment to take with you, plus the wonderful cross over admonition "Do no harm" when working with extremely old stones, so you do not damage them in any way...



There are quite a few cemeteries around here, and several Civil War era plots in and around where my friends in Missouri live....



I am looking forward to making several and having them framed...I think they would make a lovely addition to the entrance hall here at the Blood Drop Inn......
