I have to go back to my old school tomorrow for prize day to recieve something called the J J Kane Memorial Award for contributions for the school magazine. It's going to be so boring listening to the headmaster talk but I'm going because the school is so strict you weren't even allowed highlights and my hair is currently bright red. They'll have a fit. Hee hee.
Well we finally got the computer back after it not working and having to go away for a fortnight to be fixed. They said we might lose everything on it and that would have been very bad. EXTREMELY BAD!!! I was worried I would lose the final edit of my last novel but they sorted it out. Well, kind of. There was a fault in the motherboard so they transferred our stuff to their server and then put it back because we had more than ten times what they expected there to be. (I admit most people don't use up eighty gigs in a matter of weeks but we aren't most people.) So the files went back on but the software didn't meaning it all has to be put back on. The internet wasn't even connected. Thankfully it is now. Unfortunately Photoshop, Paintshop and the software for my mp3 player as well as lots of other stuff still has to go on and the computer isn't working so well anyway. One drive isn't connected properly and another is running slow. (The third is begging for euthanasia.) There's other problems too but I guess I shouldn't complain. At least we have a computer this week.
I saw Derek Acorah last night. It was an amazing experience. The best part was when he made contact with this guy's dead brother. The guy looked really macho and then cried because of all the details Derek (and his spirit guide Sam) revealed. The only bad part of the whole night was one woman refusing to pass on a message for a spirit because "he's dead so it doesn't matter." Then she went ahead and asked for this week's lottery numbers. I hate people like that but there's always one no matter where you go. Fine if you want to be a sceptic, just don't behave like that. Most people there wanted to lynch her. I wouldn't be surprised if her karma catches up with her soon.
