My nightmares are back. I used to get really bad one (probably the source of my insomnia) but then they went away. Now they're back again. Sometimes they are incredibly stupid yet scary. This week's theme appears to be drowning. I'm not afraid of water. In fact I love the stuff (I'm a Pisces) so I don't know why I'm so afraid in my dreams. It's making me uneasy because it wouldn't be the first time my dreams have been representative of coming events and in just over a week my friends are going back across the water to the mainland. It's illogical to be worried this time and not any other time which just makes it more worrying.
So could it be premonition?
Or is it just plain paranoia?
Only time will tell.
It's just one of those days when I should never even have woken up. I went to bed early (2am) and discovered one of my cats had thrown up on my bed so I had to clean that up and find different bedclothes. After that was finally sorted I couldn't sleep and then when I finally did I had nightmares again. Sometime later I awoke to the sound of vomiting. Next to my head. Oh joy! Not. Again time to get up and clean up. With that finished it was time to get on the computer and write poetry that a publisher has requested. And here's how the day has gone since then:
Turn computer on, ignore Microsoft's request to reactivate Windows when there isn't anything really wrong, check emails, open word document, leap up to stop cats fighting (Toby and Dooley), split cats up, return to computer, hear banging at door, rush downstairs to find meterman breaking the letter box again, play hunt the door keys, unlock door, usher him in to read the meter, usher him out again, lock door, back to computer, up to stop Toby and Dooley fighting, back to computer, up to stop Toby an Tig fighting, back to computer, up to stop Tig and Carter fighting, back to computer, up to let Loki out, back to computer, up to stop Nuskie and Dooley fighting, back to computer, up to stop Toby attacking everyone else, get attckaed by Toby, chase Toby around the landing, back to computer, up to let Loki back in, back to computer, pick chair up after it's been knocked over by cats, rush to answer phone, have a nervous breakdown in the kitchen, back to computer, abandon word document, take refuge in the safe haven of VR.
Bad things come in threes? More like 333s.
