This was a previous entry, I'm moving it from another section as I reorganize.

Some dreams are so beautiful, it is absolute torture to have to wake from them. The other evening I had one of those dreams. It started out plain enough (so to speak, as dreams go). Apparently a group of friends and I had a piece of land in Florida we were planning on using for a farm and brewery (don't ask... I don't even drink beer, or farm...). There was a big company wanting to buy our land to build a stadium or something, and they were offering 3mil. The offer was definately appealing, but this plan we had was our collective dream. As we were walking through our project site, we were talking about how good the soil was good for our intended crops and how we had good memories of the place and our endeavors. For some reason I reached out and... I'll have to explain this next part in more detail. You know that part of the hand where the bottom of the fingers meets the palm. When the hand is relaxed it forms a pillowy crease. I reached out and I put my finger into that part of my colleagues hand. My finger was so small in his large hand, like a childs. I guess we had some sort of affinity for each other because it was profoundly sensual.

It's a shame that the novelty of simple things like a first touch lose their potency, becoming overshadowed by more carnal experiences. Sometimes I yearn for those innocent, tender things. It seems in modern courtship we are so focused on the end result we don't take the time for these simple pleasures. Or maybe I'm just unlucky, jaded and forgetful.
