The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I've heard a lot of talk from way back in the otherkin community about a "war" that is coming. Its been a reaccuring theme in so many 'special' communities. Everyone feels it, but people just can't pinpoint when or where.



As a level 17 I clearly have not been here long, but I've read far too many profiles for me to keep up with and I see mention of this "war" alot on them. I have to say, as a newer member I adore the variety of people on here. You have some that are darker then dark and then you have some that are as much of the light as one of us can be. Yet many of these differing spectrams manage to gather here in peace united by the common thread of either being vampiric, wanting to be vampiric, admiring vampiric's, donors, etc. Its the Vampiric shade that binds us. This begs the question, exactly how strong is this bond and what will happen when its tested...



If some major even does happen, chances are we won't even have internet, let alone this site. But lets say you have a House or Coven and all the members are in a localized area. Economic turmoil hits, people are getting robbed, shot, assaulted and society becomes the animal it really is. What would you do? Do you take your family and try to get your Coven together for protection? Do you use the information you have about them to use them for their gold, medicine or food\water?



How many would actually take up arms and DEFEND your family and House\Coven? How many wouldn't give a damn either way about your Coven because lets face it, this is the internet. How well do we really know the people we meet here?



In times like these it makes me think really hard on what I do with my time, who I talk to and who I allie with. Many people believe that harsh times are coming in the next 2 year. It could be the 2012 prophecy or the major economic meltdown in 2013. Whatever it is, who are your friends? Who are your enemies? And are you sure you know which is which. Food for thought.
