So Wednesday was the big bone biopsy day...yea, that was a lot of fun. They stuck quite a few needles in the same spot of my leg and pulled out three pieces of my bone for cultures. Results, or at least a couple of them, will be in next week so I guess the only thing we can do now, is hope. Wish me luck!
Well then, some of you may have been wondering where I have been exactly...the short answer and theory of the situation, is the infection for which I had two years ago...is back. Yea, I know, scary...trust me, I'm not happy. The way the docs have put it : when they tried to clear out the MRSA (Resistant Staph Infection) from my right knee/leg 2 years ago, they didn't get ALL of it out. SO, it's been festering, conspiring, and smuldering somewhere within my distal femur bone. Now, I'm waiting to get a biopsy done for a few hopefull answers and more antibiotics in my system. Woot, what fun I am to have, huh?
