The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

A few years back just as I had pulled up to my house, I suddenly found myself in a dark room with a black stone floor and neither the walls nor the ceiling were visible in the darkness. I was kneeling on a blood red cusion before a large mirror whose edges I could not see, and in the reflection I could see candles placed behind me, though I cannot remember their number nor placement. I think I was siting in the midst of a large circle, but I don't rember if it was a physical circle or just a sensed one. Before me lay two simple cups, though they looked as though they may have been made of ivory. The one to my front left was filled with blood and the one to my front right was filled with ashes. I dipped my middle and forefingers of my right hand into the blood, and using the tips of my fingers, drew a double line from the outer corner of my left eye to the left corner of my chin, then mirrored the movement on the other side of my face using the backs of my fingers. After dipping my fingers into the blood again I traced the contours of my face drawing another double line starting from the outer corner of my left eye, accross the cheek bone, spliiting the line so that it went just over and just under the tip of my nose and back together again continuing on accross the other cheek bone and ending at the outer corner of my right eye. I then placed my right thumb into the ash and rubbed it on my eyelids, first my left, then my right. Throughout the whole process it felt odd. The whole...ceremony, if you'd like to call it that, felt...sensual. I came to after that, finding myself back in my car, but I noticed that I had been acting out the whole thing right there in the car as if I really was there in that dark room, and maybe I was. I think the vision is incomplete and is the key to unlocking the truth to my true self, but I don't have a clue as to what it all means or signifies. So far I can only guess that it is a ritual of awakening, but an awakening of what? If you have any ideas or info that you think would help me figure this out I would be grateful if you would share with me. Until I figure this out I may be forever lost.
