I really miss the "old" days of social media. Sites like Myspace and VampireRave, Bebo, etc. You could interact with total strangers, and I remember as a teenager, it was far more comfortable to confide in strangers and ask them for help than friends and family face-to-face. Life really has taken some very surprising turns, and now in my late 30s, I have failing vision and I feel exhausted with no clinical explanations. Overall, I'm very lucky. My husband has provided a terrific life for me, but it does get bored and lonely, especially when your spouse is always in their office buried in their work. I need to work toward finding a purpose for my life, especially considering I never had children.

I can relate to that. I got on VR in the early 2000s and a lot of people seemed to have came and went. But there's still some good people on here.
