Well, it has been a long winter. The time has come to shed those few extra pounds we always seem to accumulate over the winter months!

This is a weight loss spell!



Time of month: Sunset on a Waning Moon (moving from the full to the new moon)



Tools: yellow candle with holder, rose petals, lavender oil, small garnets, carnelian or turquoise stone, small jar with plastic lid or plastic bag that seals, picture of yourself "healthy"



Charge the yellow candle with the desired goal and place it in the holder. As you light the candle, visualize yourself passing on second helpings of food, small portions on your plate and looking healthy and physically fit.



Charge the rose petals, oils and stones.



Sprinkle petals around the candle, again visualize your goal.



Place the charged garnet stones and a few drops of oil into the jar or bag. As you do this visualize again. Then pick up the petals and place them in the jar or bag also. Seal the jar or bag and say:



"By this jar/bag of powered oil, petals and stones, it will bring me courage and help me meet my goal to not eat or snack as much and become healthier."



Visualize yourself becoming healthier and moving the weight on the scale to the left!



Carry this jar or bag with you and sniff the charged items before eating. Rub the charged carnelian or turquoise on the picture of yourself, then rub onto your body while visualizing yourself become you in the picture. Say:



"In no way will this spell cause me to suffer any adverse effects. So mote it be!"



Carry the stone with you and rub it when you have the urge to snack or eat too much. hang the picture up in your kitchen to view. Allow the candle to burn for another hour, then snuff it out and put it away. Burn it whenever you need the moral support.

Attraction Spell

This is short and sweet. It comes from my BOS. Enjoy



What you will need:

1. One orange candle

2. Small seashell

3. Several dried and crushed rose petals

4. Hand full of cinnamon



Light an orange candle. Then take a small seashell and pass it through the flame. As you do this say:



"By the power of three, so make it be."



Say this each time you go through the flame. Take a handful of cinnamon and using a spoon and bowl, mix it with dried and crushed rose petals. Sprinkle the shell with some of the mixture and imagine yourself attracting many different people. Take the rest of the mixture and toss it into the wind to carry your request to the Goddess and God. Then carry the shell with you in a pocket or purse.

Protection for Your Furry Purry (Cat)

Who wouldn't want to protect their precious cat/cats/dog/dogs?? Call your pet into your magic circle. Draw a pentacle in a protective oil on his/her forehead. (good luck with the cat!!)



Then say:



"Moon Goddess, I ask that you keep (name) at home and safe from mischief, and desires to roam. Give him/her the contentment, known to his/her race, and see that he/she's happy in this his/her right place.

MIRROR SPELL: Also for appearance



On a full moon, take a mirror and go outside (if you can't then open a window, make sure the moon is reflected on the mirror ) take a piece of a picture (hair, lips, eyes, whatever you are interested in changing) place it on the mirror and concentrate on it and say:



Moonshine, Starlight, let the wind carry your light, let your glow cover my body, and let your shine cover every eye.

Say it 3 times and concentrate on the part that you want to change, Then say:



Moonshine, Starlight, shape, and mold my body, as a rose is granted beauty, let me blossom in your light, the light that brings me beauty, and grant me beauty three times three.

Say it 3 times and when you are finished light a candle (pink) or incense.
