Cancer Appreciation (forum post)

08:59 Jun 23 2009
Times Read: 669

What if you disagree with the week part? I kinda agree with MBK...only I have appreciated him since I first logged into this site. I went from lvl. 1 to induction swiftly because I was too happily eager to check out EVERYTHING. I went from regular member to Lifetime quickly because I knew I loved this site and never wanted to be deleted from it. (With iffy internet, that was always an option until I upgraded...) I now have 2 Lifetime profiles and I still never want to leave.

The new updates facinate me EVERY time he does one. I don't agree with saying day, week or even Year (sorry MBK). I have been a big fan of intellegence all my life. Put Cancer on a computer and he is a super genius. So, I guess I would have to have an edited pic that had my first accounts startup date on it to be correct.

Oh, and yes...Thank you, Cancer.

I am sure everyone loves to have this place as an alternative chat room. Still, there are always those that have been around several years that see and appreciate it for the way you meant it to be. I am sure I haven't grasped the ENTIRE concept yet, but I am more than willing to learn.

What I really wanted to say is this: Congratulations.

We can thank you all we want, but this is YOUR baby and I am sure you love her. I keep adding and editing my profile pages rigorously everytime I log in. I am sure you feel the same way about VampireRave. It is an amazing and awe-inspiring creation.

P.S. I am not a boot-licker either. I am rarely impressed by anything at all. I am impressed by VR.

I agree with you, I also have 2 lifetime on 2 pros and 2 yearly on other pros. And I am 100% sure like you, when someone loves what they are doing, when they are working on their dream, it shows and Cancer is working on his dream, and it shows. Wonderfully.

My drawings...

Okay, I know the mermaid isn't so great in the face. I did it in 30 min or less, people. Give me a break. The dragon/ankh was done in under an hour. I drew them fast and didn't really intend to show them off. I just got in the mood and drug out the pencils that haven't been used in years.

You want to see what I am capable of? I know you do. So I am drawing a lady and a werewolf. Be patient. The lady is almost done (finished and being used as avatar on jennaKARRO profile). The wolf is but has no background. I need to figure out what to use there. I also do not have a scanner or I would show you the process of drawing them layer by layer. My co-workers found it fascinating, and my boss is a published writer/psychologist. I really like him...lol.

The other pictures (jennaKARRO) are from my life nearly 12 years ago when I used to play paper RPG games; ROM (nearly D&D, but vast differences) and no you cannot play it as my ex husband has never published the game. Silly man...lol. It was wonderful. You would love it.

Perhaps I will stay in the mood and sketch up something else sooner or later. Must be the protein drinks...(I said drinks, get your minds out of the gutter. If I had meant anything else, I would have said so.)

I am now working on two pictures. One is a flying fairy in leggings and a halter top. The other is for IronBen's profile. It is currently going to be an angel in lingerie with a hellhound puppy by her side, but he hasn't approved it yet. Who knows if he will like it.

Why More Women (forum Post)

08:39 Jun 15 2009
Times Read: 710

MBK>>>>>Because there are a lot of teenage girls who are infatuated with Edward Cullen and come here hoping to meet him.

Speaking only for myself, I didn’t come for the social. It is a wonderful bonus, but not what drew me to stay. I bought my accounts for a very different reason.

I will have to admit. I came here for the sole reason that I hated MySpace with a severe passion. It was wonderful upon its creation, but lost all appeal as Tom lost control of it in slow degrees. I got hate mail, and pervs day in day out. They wanted to marry me, cyber sex, web cam, nude photos, etc. I couldn’t read my mail for spammed junk and idiots everywhere I looked. I followed a friend here that had the same problems and was just as fed up with it as I was.

I stayed here even as he didn’t. I won’t get into details. I stayed not because of the social, so much as the system. It fascinates me. I love vampires, and always have. The mere mention of them sends tingles of delight throughout my body. I write stories. I don’t know if that has anything to do with it. I draw. I am attracted to any knowledge I can glean about supernatural things, especially vampires and shape shifters (changelings, lycanthrope, etc.).

I bought my accounts here for a reason most probably wouldn’t understand. VR itself fascinates me. I loved the FAQ, the Status System, the Manual, leveling profiles…Some of my favorite games are because I like to level my characters more than play the story lines. I love the rules and restrictions. I love the concept of having my control taken from me and passed around like a little lost sheep…lol. I also like BDSM and S&M themes, so that could have a ground in why I like vampire hierarchy. I like working the pages to make them better and better. I knew coding before I got here, but VR has enhanced that and expanded it. I learn new codes every week and play with them for hours just seeing which way I can stretch them. Even if no one on VR speaks to me, I love it here. Silence is better than ignorance anyhow. Still, there are great people here. People I never would have known had I not stayed.

I like Bloody Feather too. The dripping quill is wonderful symbology.

IN RESPONSE TO OTHER POSTS: Okay first...because this sticks in my head the clearest of what I am reading. The bible is a book. The person reading it has to take into consideration that it was written about a man who never actually lifted the pen. Therefore, it is clouded with the oppinions of the person writing it. Furthermore, it is hand copied for generations and eventually re-written by the church. If you really read it, there are contradictory elements within it. How can a man with long hair and a robe who was practically 'born in a barn' say you should be thrown out of a building for wearing makeup, cutting your hair, wearing pants, being homeless, etc.? You have to read it with half an eye for the arrogant additions of men. Jesus loved everyone. Yes, even...and especially the repentant whore. I don't think he would care what you did as long as the intent behind it was not mean-spirited...and would forgive even that if you honestly grew to regret it.

Secondly, I know a great deal about Wicca, Witchcraft, Elements, etc. as I am avidly curious about every religion I come across. I was raised Christian and my father is a half-blooded Indian. I grew to understand the similarities between the two and the differences. I got older and more open-minded, so I branched out. All religions have a basic similarity with only superficial differences if you actually study them without bias.

I like Wicca because I like the Elements. Storms own my soul. I cannot resist going outside to be near it. The more wild the storm; the more stupid I get over them. It is an compulsion from deep within me. When I was 6 my father had to literally run outside and yank me out of a tornado because I was walking into it in facination. Fear never entered my mind. I have since learned a healthy respect for lightning.

You are right on the male/female ratio. Common fact of life: there are more women.

My father is just as spiritually diverse and devout as I am so I wouldn't really say men and women are too different on that. I haven't noticed if they are.

I have probably forgotten something I wanted to say...

Oh, yes...I have something. As much as I like Edward, Dylan...I would much prefer Alice and Jasper, so your theory sucks....*sticks tongue out and snickers*

P.S. I like Carlisle the most. He has earned my respect for his politeness, job, and lifestyle. As well as being the one who turned Edward and accepted Alice and Jasper without reservations.

My Favorite Story Vampire...why?

08:35 Jun 15 2009
Times Read: 711

Asher from Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series tops every wicked creature I have found.

He is terribly, brutally scarred and moody as a woman.

He is also bi-sexual, loves cats, and BDSM as long as he gets to be the dominant. His bite is orgasmic and can even have flashes of recall when he is not near you that feel like the real thing and feed him even if you are only thinking about it while he is away.

He is a master vampire, though in the beginning of the series he is a slave of Bella Donna, the head mistriss of a sensual line of vampires whose powers resemble incubi and succubi.

He is European. Oh my Gods the accent alone would do it for me...not to mention their idea of actual sex and foreplay.

He is very tempermental, but when he has need of it can be highly diplomatic and intellegent. He is an aggressive fighter, but would rather not have to fight at all if there is another way to solve a problem.

Oh, yeah...definately ASHER!?!

I loved Jean-Claude until his sexy rump swayed into the storyline trying to kill Anita (only to love her). I hope she never cuts away all of his scars. I like them right where they are. Gorgeous god on one side and rigid flesh on the other...How could he get more perfect?

Alrighty, then...

I have been considering getting a secong page (just for the heck of it, I guess). Well, I did.

Anyone who wishes to find my second

Lifetime Member Account just go to:

jennaKARRO

Most of the people who know me as NymzanSusauren call me Jenna Karro, or have seen me sign a text that way. I don't think it will cause problems. I certainly hope not. I named it with my friends in mind.

Finally, it has happened...

22:45 Jun 02 2009

My internet is being hooked up as I type.

I now have it in my home and will be on VR much the same as I was in the beginning. In other words, more than any of you will like seeing me.

SO THAT BEING SAID...START LOOKING FOR ME!

Once I get my ratings back up, I will start getting bored without someone to talk to. I need friends. Not just ones that show up on my friend list, but ones that will type an actual sentence! Preferably, tons of them all in a row...

That being said, I am so happy...happy...happy...

In fact, I am so happy I am debating getting a second account just because...ah,...let me see...

Hey, does anyone know why a person would have a second account? I am sure it is fun and useful in some way, but is there a real reason why a person would have two lifetime memberships? Perhaps I should get one to see...

*rolls around laughing frantically until tears fall*
