Who are you to judge me?
But, then again, who am I to judge you
The story is always the same you see
And the ones you look up to, will throw you away
You think deep down that may finally find someone
Someone in which you will feel non-ending bliss for
Who would surely treasure your soul
But, can you honestly admit to believing yourself on that?
A letter I will write to myself
Dear Emalie,
Do you know what is inside?
Can you peer into your core?
Inside your heart, do you understand?
Can you handle the feeling known as love?
Do you understand what I am saying?
Is English the language in which it speaks?
Your soul, is it pure and new?
Is there any dark secrets contained that would make an angel weep?
Within that soul, is there anyone else?
Are you even listening to me?
Sometimes when I look into those eyes, a gaping whole is seen
Yes, like that
Do not look at me with empty eyes
The thought is to much to bear
Yes, I know you long for happiness
And I know as well that you are a gentle creature
You see, sometimes there is no other half for someone
Sometimes, they are meant to be alone
I must apologize
I wish to write no more
Those eyes they get me
They burn into my soul
I do wish you luck in your journey
May happiness change you
May you find that one person who will make you heart beat the fastest
May they fill the other half of your soul.
