I love my friends, they keep me sane when I really want to crumble. This past weekend Rat was my sanity blanket and we even spent several hours with Birdie at Camp Wildcat's reenactment. I love my family, sis and the kids but sometimes I just need to escape with adults. lol Even if we're doing silly kid stuff. Thanks guys for keeping me hanging on.
How much laundry can 4 people create? Good heavens but it's a huge mound around here and I swear the stuff breeds more just in the hampers! So far I've done 3 loads of towels, and still have 2 loads of denims and 6 more loads after that.... and if that wasn't enough my neice got sick yesterday and threw up in bed so add to that laundry list a comforter and throw as well as sheets and pj's all of such different colors they had to be washed seperately especially with the smell. Uck!
My brothers really suck sometimes, both of them.
I wish I could get along better with my 13year old neice but since she thinks she can act as stupid as her father and that'll be okay and nope it ain't happening... so the war continues
I love to drive fast and here in the hills there's plenty of curves even on a grade so it's really fun and I finally realized the best description of my driving skills.... if your butt don't need to grip on the seat as you go around the curve... you're driving it too slow!
I need to get back to writing in this journal more often it seems to clear out my cluttered mind.
Had a great day Sat with Rat watching her take pictures and sneak in places she ought not to be :) Ah well you should have seen the joy it gave her. Anyway while she was taking the artistic pictures I was taking my own pics of her at play/work. lol
Here's just a few:
Almost there now and the fog's starting to lift.

Great photos :)
That's right back up at Waverly Sanatorium right? well it's just like a wee rat to sneak about and get in! Pretty brave too, lol I don't think I could of done it! Must blow the photos up to see if there are any ghoulies this time around! :)
These are fabulous! *waves at Rat*
Wow! It was like going along with you both. Thank you. And that last pic is outstanding!
HUH! I knew I saw you before I started up those stairs. LOL *waves back to Badger* Yeap- me, could not sleep, up way before the sun, with Cat out getting in trouble. ;)
We GOT to do this again.
Next time I'm bringing my old police id with me o-0 just in case.
Yesterday was my nephew's 6th birthday and we had a get together with family and friends. Last year no one showed up for his birthday cake, not that he gave a piddle. This year we expected pretty much the same attendance just us so I asked Rat to come over and celebrate with us. What I didn't know was that Mitch would be on day's this week so he brought his woman and 2 boys 7 & 9 over. Amanda asked her best friend Abbie who showed up late but did make it. My sister had mentioned it to our neighbor with 2 little girls weeks ago and they showed up too. I asked Rat to join us since I expected it to be just us. Boy was I wrong and I owe Rat a big drink! We soon had 7 kids here and the noise level went off the wall. VW kept sliding back away from the carnage (I don't blame her one bit) But she was a good friend even cutting the cake up while my sister tried to organize the kids. lol yeah right!
Before it was over we had 8 adults and 7 kids crammed in here and it was actually fun with lots of laughing, yelling, screaming, fighting, wrestling and everything else kids do for fun. Adam handled it pretty well actually though he did zone out a few times when it got too crazy for him. Nothing like watching him in the midst of screaming wrestling kids doing is own thing with his new toys or playing on his Wii. So focused it's amazing.
On a good note, my uncle Bud was released from the hospital today. He's still weak but doing much better. It was a severe emphysema episode and his heart gave us all a big scare. But since the VA didn't have a bed for him in their care he ended up in a regular hospital in a town nearby. There he was treated by a new lung specialist who actually tried some new meds on him that seemed to have made all the difference. Makes me wonder why the VA never did? But anyway he's coming home as I write this so we'll probably try to visit this weekend sometime if there's not too much a crowd over at his house. He won't need a huge bunch of folks bugging him so a long phone call might be a better ideal? I'll ask his daughter.
I do hope Birdie, Rat and I can go out together Friday night, it's been a while. :(

Sounds like a fun time :)
Good news about the uncle. I'm all too familiar with emphysema. My father passed away from that in 1992.
I am glad your uncle is better and Happy Birthday to your nephew.:-)
well at least he had a wonderful birthday with a lot of fun.
and Rat (VW) deserves a extra hunk of Cheese for being good and not losing it.
I would have paid good money to see the Rat with that level of kid-dom....lol
*Takes the cheese* Trust me- I earned it. And puppy... :P I did good...well...for me. And kids. Screaming kids.
Yes= two drinks I think.

lol, like your description of fast driving. I got a ticket for speeding.. I was caught by the coppers at 97.5 mph. Nearly lost my license for that!

Not too much Meeper, Rat just leans a little over to see the speed I'm doing then looks at me while Birdie wacks me in the head from the back seat... so I got to be careful with them. I save anything over 85mph for when I'm alone since my sister pointed out I have the steering wheel to hold onto while the rest of them don't get grab bars. :)
