The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

It's been some time since I sat down and really used this journal the way I used to write in it. Part of the reason is I've been really busy in my day to day life. The other is I've been feeling a distinct lack of desire to actually explore my deeper feelings about a great many things.



I may have been quiet but I still read journals and the forum and try to keep up. I have to admit I have been feeling very disconnected from many here on the site.



I don't get the need to argue, harrass and fight with folks online, it's too easy to avoid and ignore them for me to get upset. It's honestly hard for me to get mad at nasty comments left on profiles or journal entries when they are so badly spelled it only proves the ignorance of the one leaving them.



I do have a problem with any adult on this site behaving nasty and unethically with the youngest members of this site especially those who are up front that they are underage. Keep your adult based language and slurs to yourself and your peers. If you don't like the member, block them and move on I know for a fact they cannot truly bother you, remember it's all online not your next door neighbor's annoying kid that keeps kicking the wall you share.



I invite any of those who feel the need to post hateful and nasty language to feel like an adult and in control to send it to me, I couldn't care less. I can guarantee it will not be the worst I have heard or probably said myself. But if it lets you get through your day without making others miserable feel free.

I read Christo's entry- it was deplorable what that jerkoff did. But kudos to Christo for handling it like a true denizen of VR, and definitely his mom's son. Lord knows, he dealt with it better than most adults around here....lol

POST COMMENT

Had a good time at Disneyworld with a couple of exceptions. By Wednesday my nephew was done with the crowds as he'd rode or seen all the things he was interested in and so he refused to go to any more parks.



So he and I stayed at the resort which worked pretty well for me as our first day there I hit my knee just perfect to knock a hole into the knee cap right over the surgery scar from the last time I busted that knee. So walking for me became a real problem anyway. After the rest of the family headed to the parks, Adam and I would go out to the pool area with a small playground next to it and since most everyone else was in the parks it was fun for him and I had a nice bench perfect to watch him. We did take a couple of slow walks over to the other resorts in the area and had us a fine time.



My knee has remained sore this week as it healed from the cut on it and the bruising has gone down but the swelling is still there and so I saw my doctor today and he thinks it best if I have an x-ray done of it. I don't think there's anything bad wrong with it but I don't want to take chances so I'll get it done.



Today's my oldest brother's birthday so I cooked him his favorite meal- white beans, cornbread, oven roasted potatoes and sauerkraut and wieners with chocolate no bakes instead of a cake. Luckily I did not have to do the no bakes so I'm not complaining about the rest of it. lol



As I've written this I was watching the UK Arkansas basketball game and oh man was it a stinker. We lost but it was such a nasty game who really cares.



I have been doing some work on my laptop though cleaning it up and cleaning it out and it seems to have worked to speed it up and make it work better. So the day wasn't a total waste of time.
