A serious maim-er-talking is in order...I need some help with this though...

I want to seriously maim my little sister...like...for realz. So, to keep a straight head about this, I am going to post the conversation I had with my mom's girlfriend, and let you decide what I should do. Nartina is me, and Barbara is my mom's girlfriend. Tabitha is my little sister:

Nartina I still need to talk to Tabitha and give her my two sense about her and her roommate piercing their ears when they're supposed to be asleep.

Barbara How'd you find out about that?

Nartina A letter. She sent it to me herself.

Barbara Ah she told me she hadn't been in contact with you. When did she send it?

Nartina A while back...like right before summer started. I haven't been able to get into contact with her about it, mainly because I didn't know if it was alright, but also because I didn't know where she was staying.

Barbara Did she tell you about the marijuana?

Nartina WHAT!?

Barbara Yeah. They found it in the room Tabitha was in. There were several girls who wont be going back to mh and tabitha is pushing the wrong buttons up there

Nartina I can see that I'm going to have to get my ass up there, sit her down, and have a talk.

Barbara She got lucky she didn't get caught is my understanding

Nartina This may be partially my fault...I didn't talk to her a lot after I left. Hardly was able to contact her at all.

Barbara It might be good coming from you because she doesn't seem to be hearing me these days when I try to tell her how important certain things are and how others she need not get involved in

Nartina yeah...If I have to, I will hitch a ride with someone and get my ass up there. She better hope I'm in a semi good mood that day.

Barbara Yeah well she didn't much like her summer vacation, not here at least, i kept her busy and didn't let her get away with much. we didn't have much fun

Nartina Good. She doesn't deserve to have fun on her summer vacation if she's going to act like a little punk ass. I understand that I wasn't the best, but I never did anything that severe. An attitude here and there, but I wasn't that stupid.

Barbara At least you asked for permission to get ears done and waited until it was given, and at least you asked if you could get contacts and waited until it was given

Nartina Yeah...I knew that I would get my ass beat if I did it on my own.

Barbara instead of lie and just do it

Nartina I was more afraid of the consequences of doing something than I was of doing it.

Barbara Not just that I don't remember your mom saying NO to much of what you girls wanted as long as it was a reasonable request

Nartina I tried not to make unreasonable requests. If I knew it couldn't be done, even if I wanted it, I didn't do it. Tabitha didn't get away with it with you guys, she is not going to get away with it with me. She is not going to like me when I get up there.

Barbara Shit she said you could color your hair as long as it wasn't like hot pink or something crazy

Nartina it has to be with in two shades of your natural color. If I remember correctly, and you have to have your guardian's permission.

Barbara Yeah well with the contacts she said her mom said it was okay made out like she called her but she didn't not sure who tabitha called that night

Nartina Tabitha got contacts too?

Barbara Yeah without asking her mom and lying that she did. Girl your sister is on a rampage stealing, lying, and doing what she wants or thinks she can get away with. She even stole a shirt from us this summer

Nartina WHAT!?

Barbara We called and they found it and sent it back to us. was one of our SPCA tee shirts for our volunteer work

Nartina Final straw. Right there.

I get the whole lashing out thing, but call me crazy, this bullshit is getting to be way too much. I need to do something before she gets kicked out of MH. The only other option for her is foster care-my family cannot afford to take care of her, nor do they have the abilities to handle a petulant child.

Needless to say I wasn't happy. So I am running to anyone who reads this. How do I get her to stop if she will not listen to talking, and I cannot touch her in a violent way? (I seriously want to slap her) How can I get her to understand that what she is doing is wrong, and will eventually get her into a whole lot of trouble she does not want to be in?

Any guidance or information would be loved.

How the hell?

So I'm looking back at my old pictures-AKA ones from the beginning of this year-and remembering how at the time I thought they were great. Now...now I just cringe. I remember how I used to draw the picture, with no idea in mind as to how I wanted to color them, and then, just go with it...the end result was always alright, but never good. It's funny how one can mature in so short a time. Since the beginning of this year, I've changed my style of art at least ten times, and I think I've finally settled on something I like...I hope.

Now, when I draw something, I try to have an image in my mind as to what I want it to look like, and the end result is always much better. Through extensive research, I have managed to make my art more presentable. And it all happened in six months. Strange...amazing...yet strange.

I guess my point is, when you think you're not good at something, you should still keep up with it. I got disheartened when I noticed that my art was going nowhere, so I did a little research, clicked a few buttons, and with a little practice, got to where I am today. You can always improve, no matter what you're doing. There's never a reason you should think you're not getting anywhere. So long as you have the ability to do so, you will keep on progressing.

And don't be afraid to show off every so often. If you're proud of something you do, flaunt it, don't hide it. I've noticed that whenever people are proud of something, a work, or a story, it tends to show, and other people enjoy it too.

It is common, as you grow as a person, for your creativity to change, your skills to get better. Someday, you will look back and say....."Damn, I was only (insert age here), when I drew that."
