Today I lost my best friend. He was there through some of my toughest times with a back of the knee kiss and a wagging tail. I loved him dearly and will miss him so. Goodbye my puppis.

Just got home from the emergency vet.
My pup (who turned 15 yesterday) is in diabetic ketoacidosis crisis.
He was given IV fluids, insulin, and some anti nausea meds and sent home to see how things go.
We're hoping he perks up enough to eat a bit so we can get this insulin party started.
But if he doesn't..... I have a horrible choice in front of me.
Everything hurts
Things are looking up!
I'm no longer on that HORRIFIC medication! and Damn does it feel GOOD!
It's at bit scary to be med free, especially with the condition that I have, but so far so good.
I'm just going to take it ONE day at a time and see how it goes.
It's finally July and my birthday is just around the corner. I always feel about weird about my birthday... I never really expected to see 28 or 25 or even 21. I am kind of amazed I'm still living and breathing to be honest.
And not just living and breathing but LIVING. Yes I am financially strapped, I have medical problems out the wazoo, I have no luck in the romantic field whatsoever... but.....
I have AMAZING friends and family. I have a decent job (I still should be making more for what I have to do), a home, a car, and a loving puppy.
For all of that I am EXTREMELY grateful.
