One friday night, 2 hot chicks... not a decent man in sight!
Let me clarify firstly - I was NOT on the prowl, but my girlfriend was.
Sad sad sad was all I do to describe Sydney men.
Loads looks, load admired, one or 2 even dared to speak to us but only came out with foolish pick up lines..... none came up to a decent standard.
Could I say at least there were some handsome guys? No
Could I say at least there were some intelligent, witty guys? No
A word of advice to men - here is an idea - next time, say hello and have a conversation with a woman you like - what's the worse thing that can happen? You have nothing to lose by being decent.
Sad state of affairs - if i were single i'd have slashed my wrists by now

well, I went out with the youngest sister of my best friend from Greece on friday night
She has come to australia to do university for the next 3 years
As she still hasn't made friends we decided to go out and take her through the local clubs in sydney...
She wore me out....
6 hours later and over 10 clubs later i was one worn out little puppy.
So thanks to all the patrons at the following locations:

The ball was fun
we were seated somewhere in the middle against a wall, which allowed us full sight of everyone else.
Was interesting to see what some people consider ball clothing - in my opinion, pants on ladies is not formal ball wear
needless to say myself and the girls looked fabulous! heheh
and yes have loaded new piccies on the portfolio to view. i got hom too late to do anthing with my hair, so it stayed tightly cinched back.
all in all, was a good evening, I drank too much wine and was hit on by a couple of unattractive men
but the entire function raised a nice $83,000 for the transplant unit at westmead hospital for children.

Am off to a Charity Ball tonight.
I've heard whispers of ball gowns, famous people, loads of money and buckets of champagne...
Now the panic has set in.... what to wear!!!
It starts at 6pm - i don't finish work until 5.30, 45 minutes travel home, shower, blow dry and curl hair, make up and look smashing - i doubt i will show up until 7.30pm.....
oh well, call it fashionably late >:)

I often wonder why we get married, when all we really need is a permanent flat mates with benefits.
This would mean they are responsibile for 1/2 the house work, 1/2 the help and 1/2 the washing too.
It would be nice to have a chance to be lazy once in a while, your own bed, no need to answer to anyone, no more disappointments....
You can be independant becasue you want to be, not because you have to be anymore.
I think I am tired of being the wife, maid, slave, cleaner, washer, dog washer and carer, the cook, the shopper, the ironing and even the bed maker..... just for the occassional shag.
I am however appreciative that I don't have to handle the paperwork any more, nor manage the expenses because if i had this too I really think I would top myself.
It's a rainy, gloomy day and i think it got into my thoughts

I've been told by several sources if people resign with in their 3 month probabtion period I can't count this as a resignation and therefore my record is intact.
While sounds great in theory and I would love to agree - in my heart I know the truth.... the record in my personal opinion is still very much broken....
