Round and round it still goes.

Wars, viruses and natural disasters and the world endures.

Which is good of course but it also seems like the same mistakes keep happening too. Different names for the "groups" but still the same hate and intolerance for anything different to them, doesn't matter whether its left or right, the hate remains the same.
That pendulum just keeps swinging from one extreme to another, never settling for a balanced middleground. It is a "with us or against us" mentality and that can become fanaticism.

Then there is those who wish to rewrite history to serve their narratives, you can't learn from mistakes if you bury them nor can you then avoid repeating said mistakes. The past is not always pretty, but it should be remembered, both the good and bad.

Sometimes I do wonder if I must have woken up one day into an absurd comedy or cartoon because a lot of what I see these days is something straight out of a parody.

Well, all one can do is endure and hope a new era replaces the madness.
