Headaches are one of the most common types of chronic pain. These include migraines, tension headaches, sinus headaches and cluster headaches. While a headache can be a symptom of chronic pain disorders, such as fibromyalgia and multiple sclerosis, it also tops the list of chronic pain as its own disorder.
The worst headache I ever had happened when I was in college, and it was a muscle tension headache. It lasted for over a week, and did not respond to anything. I took long, hot baths. I took my maximum allotment of prescription headache meds. I stayed home from several of my classes. I could barely tolerate the sounds of my roommates moving quietly around the house. And then? It just went away. When I returned to class, several of my colleagues were shocked that I would stay home because of a headache. If they only knew!
And i think it begins again.. All day a strong pressure right in the middle of the forehead, and severe pain starting from above the one ear, going round the skull till the other ear. Can't even touch my head. It is by far the worst kind of pain ever...
There are times that all you want is scream. The flooding emotions are so violent that you cant find the words to express yourself and those you find dont even have the 1/10 gravity to describe those you want. So you go back to your primitive nature and scream. At least you want to. But all you end up doing is sit silently in a dark corner and stare at nothing basically... And the seconds become minutes and the minutes become hours.. Hours day and so on.. Either you ll scream in the end or stay silent.. untill the rage cummulates.. and when unleashed, the results will be definitely catastrophic. Either way sooner or later you will react. Cant stay idle.. Otherwise you ll die.. Physically, metaphorically, doesnt matter.
Just be carefull to whom you ll unleash all this energy. Has to be worth it and to be sure it will do the necessary damage. OTherwise better shut the hell up and take deep breaths.
