Is anyone else incredibly thankful the vampire craze in popular culture seems to have come to an end again? I get that vampires become an intense part of the cultural psychology on a pretty regular cycle but Jesus, this latest go round was kind of exhausting (I'm looking at you Stephanie Meyer!).
I'm just happy it looks like we're going to be left alone again for awhile. The bigger question is, what might that mean for this site? Perhaps there won't be as many tweens and high strung drama queens? Maybe...?
Just a quick note to the few readers I have (and myself to remember how damn busy I was during this time!). I'm here and poking my head in but it's been hard to spend as much time as I'd like. I know, I know. The perpetual lament. But between work, still settling into the new house, and just general summer activities, I'm usually racing right up until the moment I drop into unconsciousness.
If anyone has Cancer's ear, beg him for a better mobile version of the site! It's easy enough for me to jump on to silly facebook and what not when I have time to kill standing in a line or something. It would be awesome to be able to do the same with VR!
Oh and for those who know about my short story, I haven't forgotten. I still think about it and it's still sitting up there in my head. I just need some time to myself to work on the next bit, which is started but just waiting to be finished.
That's it for me kids. Hope you're all well!
