I'm really starting

To hate my job. cliche I know but not really any other way to say it like I mean.

1) I come in and get told to do things in a stupid way and when I question it the person in charge gets their feelings hurt over it.

2) I'm a smart person, not genius nor stupid. When someone talks to me like you would to a 10 year old it is upsetting and frustrating, but I guess they don't get that.

3) It is in a general sense a high stress/pressure jobs because of all the deadlines. food must be here at a certain time and cleaned up at a certain time and etc.

4) For some reason the boss that hired me that I usually like very much and is the reason I have stayed there for almost 2 years now rather then just tel I could get a better job has been saying things that contradict information that she has previously given me. when I was first hired we didn't have as many cart like equipment as now so I ended up using some strange things to stack clean dishes on etc. well, eventually when we got the proper carts we were all told not to do it the old way because it was inherently less safe. But today I was told that she always does that less safe way, even though I never see her do it, ever.? But yet I AM the bad guy for remembering that.

I'll never understand people.

I hope it starts getting better, hun. *hugs* It seriously sucks when you detest or even hate what you're doing. Some people talk to others as though they're a child because of how the people around them before have acted (not you personally but other people).

Like I've grown irritated with Brett on a good bit of things and at times, I feel as though I'm acting as his mother instead of his girlfriend. It shows. One of the biggest issues is him getting up in the morning and I'll seriously get on his case after an hour and a half. Ninety minutes of trying to get him up is way too long for him to call a place about a paid internship. That happened this morning. >.< I was beyond mad. The second biggest issue is him not hearing me at all... I will treat him like a child at times and I'm ashamed to admit that but I'll ask him to repeat what I said, what I told him needs to be done, and/or if he hear me.

But no matter what, stay strong. The job has been great for you. Probably amazing considering the situation you had been in. But that doesn't mean you have to stick with it when you feel like you're putting your own growth/needs out. If you decide to leave, I suggest trying to secure another job before doing so. Make sure to explain to the other employer that you're looking for new opportunities and explain the situation.

*hugs* And you're not alone. I don't think I'll ever have a decent understanding of people either.
