Safe to say, i am not going upstairs >:P
Does anyone here think about the old days? well you should, it was a magnificent time and when i means old days i am talking about the 10 to 15th century. No guns to spoil the fun of killing someone up close and personal, and you could near enough do anything you wanted but of course it was around this time if i recall that the church started to become more of a major player.
Now what if we could have those times back? (with a little dash of what is here in the modern era of course)
Chivalry, honor, respect and perfect warriors built for war. Humans today are weak because they rely to much on modern tech, guns are for weaklings and it is the might of the sword that brings honor to a true warrior, the skills and strength and needed to survive in those days that made humans a powerhouse.
While spartans suffered from lack of adaptability and numbers, each spartan soldier was worth more than 5 people.
Romans were not as tough as spartans but their tactics, adaptability and the fact they recruited anyone rather than spend decades training perfect soldiers made romans superior.
Conquering was a perfect way to keep population down and controlled as many would die during the battles, however, trying to conquer the world is futile as one cannot properly manage it all, they will be stretched thin and there would be traitorous power hunger people trying to carve their own piece of land which had the side effect of would preventing stagnation, it caused change and adaption. Today however, humanity is stuck in a crapsack oppressed world.
If humanity suffers a near world ending event that shatters the government's control etc then the old days can make triumph return....just with political correctness haha
