Everyone I have ever known had complained about their work but me though I know I can't be the only one with no complaints, save for sore feet and lack of time. This makes me wonder, would we be better off in the old ways? People used to take pride in their work when it was specialized and relied upon in an obvious fashion and you were more likely to trade the fruits of your work than coin. So what exactly has happened? What's changed?

I think people (including me some days) need a reminder that even as simple as your job may be it is vital. I simply put things on shelves for my second job but it is part of a greater whole and without it there would be greater risk of food shopping before notice causing waste and it would be more difficult for people to get what they need. Not to mention in these times I am part of a larger unit providing food to those who need it and sorting what does go too bad for people to be given to animal sanctuaries. I am a stocker at Walmart and even this has reason for some measure of pride.

Don't forget to take pride in what you do no matter how small it may seem nor to take pride in who you are as well. If you find it difficult then just truly think about it and most likely you can find something about it to take pride in. Some may find it and excuse and accuse me of simply not trying to get anywhere in life but with pride comes purpose in my opinion at least. Still here? There is a lot involved in work for it to be meaningful and of service to others, to gain mastery is an ongoing challenge. Much more fun than just being busy.👍
