I was out walking my dog in the Elswick area on the 30th of July at about 22.07 pm. I seen a round object hovering low in the sky with a bright orange-red glow. It was hovering side to side for about 2 mins above the Westgate road high rise flats, and then it flew away towards the city centre in the North East direction, and I heard a low rocket sound coming from the object. It got smaller as it moved away into the distance.



There has been other reported sightings from people from the Newcastle area with similar description to my sighting. There has been 5 sightings on the website from 23 - 30 July. Someone in my area had seen a round orange object in the sky on the 29th of July at 22.10 pm.

I grew up in Northern NM. Area 51 and all that. People see UFO's all the night and actually jump in their cars to follow the lights in the sky.
