We have an upcomming show date. Nusense is headlining on July 12th at Club Fathom in Downtown Chattanooga on Market Street. There will be 3 other bands playing as well. Ion Prophecy will play the number 3 slot and slots 1 and 2 are still TBA....(to be announced).

I am going to ask a question that I have been asked so many times. If 2 people are in love or at least really care about each other alot, does it matter about age difference?



I mean at least as long as the youngest is 18? If it does matter, what should be the most that an age difference should occur? If it doesn't matter why do people make such a big deal about it?



Please let me know your answers and why you feel this way.

Interesting question. Lets say that one was 45 and one was 18.



Both adults. The friends and family of the 18 year old are bound to have some concerns.



After all, with such an age difference the younger one is bound one day to become a full time carer.



Also will the younger one wish to be a parent ?...if so, is that going to be fair on the child ?



In a perfect world it would'nt matter a damn...but for now it's wise to think carefully about the issues that come with a big age difference.....just my thoughts.

i understand that. The age difference is 14 years. And the two have sat down and talked about things and they are both okay with the idea. The younger one is more mature than the regular average 18 year old and the older one is mature but still young at heart and has the energy to keep up with the younger one.

If both parties are ok with the age difference and the parents are ok with it as well, do you think it is wrong?

What do you do when you have helped keep something secret because that is what they wanted, but someone else found out and told the secret and the shit hits the fan and you honestly don't know what is going to happen now and where you go or what you do now? Do you let the storm pass and see the damage once it is clear, do you wait as you have been doing, do you walk away ? Walking away isn't an option for me though.

For those of you who are in Chattanooga Tennessee or around this area, I want to let you know about the show going on. It's Aug. 9th at Ziggy's on Cherokee Blvd.

It will be Nusense, the band I co-manage and Meanmelissa manages, LowDown, and SMI. If you need or want more info let me know.

Have you ever been so happy to see your family, especially the ones you haven't seen in such a long time, and you know that they don't have much time? But at the same time you run into the one cousin that ruined your life as a child and you have to carry that around with you forever and you have spent many years avoiding him but on this particular day when you walk in the door there he is? And all you want to do is run away and cry. And then before you can get away he puts his arms around you and all you can do is cringe and shake all over again and have the bad memories run back through your mind? And you can't let on because most of your family doesn't know, but those that do just stand there and watch to make sure you are going to be ok? Well, I wasn't ok and I am not okay now. I wanted to run out in the middle of the road and get hit by a car because the pain is to much, the thoughts are too much. I feel it all over again just like I did when I was 9 and I hate it.
