They say absence makes the heart grow fonder.
It doesn't.
It makes the heart ache and the soul bleed.
It makes the mind wander.
It makes you ask, why isn't she here?
Where is she now?
She can no longer be with me and comfort me.
She can no longer soothe my fears.
What happened to the happier times?
When we were in love.
Before all the terrible hate, the painful betrayal.
Before she deplorable crime.
But now she has gone and it is ended.
And I am alone.
This shattered soul cannot be fixed or healed.
My torn heart cannot be mended.
-Lord Seth
When I look at your picture..
I come to think..
Where are you?
Your laughter, your sorrows
Your love..
I miss you..
I knew that our love was real..
Why didn´t you give me a chance..?
Why did you leave me..?
I love thee, my rose..
Now, I will cry myself to sleep..
I miss my love..
Where are you..?
I stand here all alone..
Alone, without an end in sight..
I feel the sorrow..
I can see it so clear now..
The end is coming for me too..
As I wandered through the night..
I said to myself..
I will join you soon..
I love you..
And another tear fell..
For you..
My love..
-Lord Seth
Uninvited, you came.
Your visits, at first, unknown to me.
You caused my soul to feel true fear.
But then why does my heart long for you to be near?
Time suddenly meant nothing.
Except my longing for eternal night.
You stole my heart, even my soul.
You complete me, but I still don't feel whole.
Something is missing, something you stole from me.
My humanity is something I can not get back.
You took everything but this:
Eternal life, given by your immortal kiss.
-Lord Seth
You say you love me as I love you,
But is this statement really true?
This is what you must prove to me,
That is my demand, my plea.
What would you give up for this love?
The sun, the moon, the stars above?
No. You must give me something of your own,
If you do not wish to be alone.
Would you give your time, your soul, your heart?
So we shall never be apart?
Would you die for me, would you bleed?
This is the knowledge that I need.
Would you stay with me for all of time?
That is the sacrifice sublime.
Would you give up your current life,
And take a new one, laced with strife?
Would you join me in my pain?
To endure upon your soul this stain?
Will you join me as a vampire?
To follow me into this hellish fire?
You will? Then come into my embrace.
And be born again of another race.
A sacrifice mortals do not even dream of,
This is the true sacrifice of love.
-Lord Seth
I am a creature of the night
Always Darkness, never light.
Heed my warning, hear my plea.
Your first instinct, should you see me,
Will be to turn, to run, to flee.
And well you should, for I am Death,
Never again to draw a mortal breath.
But I implore you, please don't go.
You have much I'd like to know.
Things, to me, that you may show.
What's life like? I can't remember.
Mine faded long ago, a spent cider.
The fire no longer burns so bright,
Now the moon is my only light,
The sun is not a thing of night.
Do remember the sun beating gently down,
On lush green grass, when flowers dotted the ground?
The warm breeze flowing softly through the air?
The wonder I can no longer share,
The night is filled with my cold despair.
What also is the love of another?
Just to enjoy the pressence of each other?
Deadly is my love, and worse is my hate.
My wicked thirst I can never sate,
Just one of my terrible traits.
Enjoy your life, short though it may be,
And when you're upset, just think of me.
Remember things aren't quite so bad.
You'll never be eternally sad,
Removed from all you've ever had.
Farewell, and thank you for your time,
And for forgiving my terrible crime.
For your caring, you'll be saved from my ire,
You'll be free from my unatural desire.
And you'll have lived to tell of what transpired,
Here, between you...
And a vampire.
-Lord Seth
The dark engulfs my silent world,
And night becomes my home,
I stare into the black I love,
And endlessly I roam.
With each new turn I drift away...
I'm lost and can't return.
Yet oddly, I don't really mind.
There's much for me to learn.
But somehow there is something wrong,
It's not enough for me.
I'm not allowed to have my peace
Until I wake to see
The one thing that will make my life
Much better than before.
Although I don't know what it is,
I want it even more.
I search the darkness aimlessly
And know not what I seek.
My effort seems to be in vain,
But then appears Monique.
Through the mist as if a dream
She forms within my sight.
With glowing eyes and arms outstretched,
She pushes back the night.
No words escape her blood red lips,
And yet she calls to me.
She traps me with seductive stare -
I feel no need to flee.
My flesh and soul belong to her.
I can't deny her now.
I find myself in front of her
Bent deeply in a bow.
With one hand underneath my chin,
She lifts my face to hers.
Like a hungry but contented cat,
She sighs, and then she purrs.
Slowly her red lips start to part,
Revealing fangs of death.
With no protest at all from me
She sucks out my last breath.
For I Am Hers
-Lord Seth
Curse of eternity, to never die
To go on forever...
Never known.
Hiding from the prying eyes
To live a life of no more then alone.
Death is my friend
Life is my enemy...
No religion to save me
No one to crave me
No one to love me
No one..
Just I and the kin
As we conquer all.
The closer we are to winning
The less I think I really care.
-Lord Seth
An icy wind blows silent across an ancient courtyard hidden, deep in the forgotten depths he lies sleeping now, awaiting night's call.
And when it comes, he stirs, awakening, yet again eyes yet clouded open as he rises to sit and gaze upon the ruins of ancient splendor, and thoughts of a time, so long ago, when he danced and sang among friends and family and knew love and joy and could smile at each with ease. And now a tear, falls slowly from his dark eyes for now he remembers that which is lost. He stands and lets his eyes wander, watching, listening as those who dwell with him in the night, sing his name and of his immortal youth.
Slowly now he walks through empty, cold halls filled now with but memories of love and joy and song. Ahead the golden glow of night's moon slips through cracks and beckons to him and onward he glides...
But stops for a moment, the look of sorrow upon his lips, to wonder and remember all the days gone by. And now, above him, a hawk sings to him... and he smiles "Ah, my friend we are like one... hunters in the night." He turns and puts thoughts of a life lost behind and slips into the night. And thought weave again in his soul.
"Who will feed this hunger this night...?"
And another blood red tear falls.
-Lord Seth
